Although not authentic, D-rings and snaps can be sewn on to
secure walls to roof instead of ties. These do not show on
the outside of tent and enable much faster erecting or takedown
of your tent.

Rain Flap: This is
a flap approximately 9" wide. It is sewn to the inside of the roof. The walls
would attach between this flap and the trim. It will eliminate wind and rain in
inclement weather.
Cost: $1.20 per foot.
